About Dupe & Design
An interior designer, sharing the sourcing tricks usually saved for client projects.
By day I design homes and commercial spaces for clients. That job is mostly about knowing why a room looks expensive: the scale of the furniture, the mix of materials, the light, and the restraint.
Most of that has little to do with price. A well-chosen look-alike, placed with intention, can do almost everything the original does. Dupe & Design is where I share those finds, mostly mid-century modern and elevated, editorial spaces, along with complete room combinations so you can see how the pieces work together.
I keep this separate from my client work, so you won't find my name here. You will find honest picks: if a dupe doesn't pass the proportion and materials test, it doesn't make the edit.
